Hi All,
My Scenario is as follows:
1. I have a term set say department with terms IT, Admin and HR in central admin MMS.
2. I have two site collections and each has one site column naming Department mapped to above term set.
3. I have a document library in both site collections and has above site column attached. Added documents in both libraries and tagged with IT, Admin and HR for department.
4. Have configured search and associated to my web application where my site collections resides.
5. Crawled the content source and created a scope on the same and created managed property for the site columns above and full crawled it again and added the property in refinement panel of search pages in both site collections.
Now my question is if I search for a document in one site collection which belongs to another site collection library, will my refinement panel will give me the department filter for that documents.
