sharepoint 2013 - inline editing not working for custom views in sharepoint lists, except for the default view.

Hi friends,

Does anyone has idea why inline editing is not working in sharepoint 2013 list views ? When I click on edit button (inline), for list views, it shows false. But it does work on a default view. Any possible solution.

I know there is a concept of "Quick Edit", but if I'm not wrong thats for datasheet view. And I'm not using datasheet view.
