We have a word document that was last updated on my local machine on 20th May 2018. When this file was uploaded to a SharePoint document library on 9th July 2018, the out of the box SharePoint “Modified” field value shows as “9th July 2018” although when this document is searched in SharePoint, the Last Modified Time for the same document is shown as “20th May 2018” in the search results. This happens for all documents and search results always show the date when the document was last modified on the local system.
Is this an out of the box behavior of SharePoint or do we need to change any configuration?
