I have word document with .doc extension in the document library of production environment. Office web apps was installed in the production environment. <o:p></o:p>
When my client try to edit the document (using edit option from context menu pop-up) it is throwing error with guid. My client is having word 2010 in his machine.
It seems there is a compatibility issue while opening doc file with word 2010 using SharePoint.<o:p></o:p>
In the library level “Open in the client application” was set for “Default open behavior for browser-enabled documents:” option. “Open Documents in Client Applications by Default” feature was activated in site collection level.<o:p></o:p>
Any idea what can be the problem?<o:p></o:p>
