Has anyone created a custom "static date only" field type? We would like to store dates only and not have them changed based on site or user regional time zone settings. We are looking at using a text field with an event receiver, but we would also like to let end users use the calendar picker, and make sure the dates would sort appropriately. Has anyone else done anything similar or have any other suggestions?
