I am doing this in a workflow...basically trying to display some comments. Each time I attempt to display the comment, I am getting some funny data returned. I know SP has some funny way of rendering Managed metadata, but I have never had to deal with the people/group lookup field in this way before. So here is what am doing...I am assigning the data entered (comments) into a field called "Workflow Comments" along with who the task was assigned to, to a variable called "commentWithRole". Each time, I get really funky data returned, thanks to the "People" lookup field. The attachments below shows what am doing and the last message shows what it displays.
The "Assigned To" value keeps returning what looks like this below. How do I get it to just display the user without all the others weird data returned? I just want it to display the SP User, time stamp and the comments.
