We would like to have the following Create Site functionality by using a list:
Team members should be able to create a new (team) site by creating a new a list item. The list contains the following columns:
- ID
- ProjectName
- Template (dropdown choice: team/project site or from available template site)
- URL
In fact, they click on new item, then they have to enter the Project Name, Select a template and save. In the background the site should be created based on the project name and in the list item the URL to the them site needs to be populated, so that they will have an overview of all the created team/project sites.
Can anyone give some hints or tips?
