SharePoint Online Client Components SDK does NOT work with .Net Core 2.0

Hi;

    I can confirm that the Sharepoint Client Component SDK DLLs only work with .Net Framework but NOT CORE 2.0. It results in 400 Bad Request. I have successfully used it with .Net 4.7.1 Console Application.

    Is support for .Net Core 2.0 in the roadmap? If yes, what's the timeframe like?
