We have an issue list and we would like to add a callout, when a user hoovers his mouse over an item.
The contents for the callout that we would like to display is some of the fields/columns of the item.
Is it correct that we can add a callout to show some of the columns of an item of a issue/task list?
I did some search and found some information, but they are not for callout on a list.
I am able to create a callout like an information window. To my surprise, the callout does not show in IE, but it shows in Edge and Firefox.
One webpage talks about creating a new page called Callout and adding embedded code.
A different webpage does not say about adding a new page, instead it says to add a web part, a Script Editor; that I assume is to add the Script Editor web part to the list's home page.
Are both methods correct?
I read somewhere that an announcement list cannot have a callout,
but someone posted an example about creating a callout on an announcement list.
I saw two links about callout and those links point to learningsharepoint.com. However, those two pages are no longer available.
