Auto populate term set to managed metadata field on list form

Hi Team,

I have a managed metadata column in a list, when user tries to add a new item, by default I want to show the country field to lets India which is also a term set.

When user opens the new form, I want to auto populate this term set.

Till now I have tried to assign the unique id of the term set to the field, also tried to assign the same label value as term set, even that does not work.

How can this be done ?
