Exit/Return to the previous view

I used HttpContext.Current.Request.QueryString["source"]in the past. It was able to get the view URL. I need it when users click the "Exit" button to return to the previous view. It seems no longer work (always return NULL). Please provide me an answer of how to return to the previous view. Many thanks.
