Get Activities I want to share in my newsfeed in SP2013

Hello,

I want to tick a few of the newsfeed boxes under the "Activities I want to share in my newsfeed" using server side object model.

The ActivityManager class is deprecated now in SP2013. (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.office.server.activityfeed.activitymanager.aspx).

Can someone help?
