We have workflows (SharePoint 2010 type) to create Word document in SharePoint 2013 document libraries. It works fine when users have Word 2010 (Office 2010). Now, users pc has been upgraded to Office 2016. It seems users has problem to open these Word documents using Word 2016. It stay in "Processing..." forever or "Word has stopped working - Not Responding". However, we can open them in Word 2010. We used the same workflows as the follows:
I also set up the document library in SharePoint 2016 sites and run the same workflow there. But I got the same result. I hope someone can tell me how to solve this problem because I cannot stop the pc upgraded to Office 2016.
