I have no experience with SharePoint but I have recently been asked to build a proof of concept to consume data from SharePoint to build Microsoft R data products using Microsoft R Open.
What is the approach to extract SharePoint data?
What is the suitable data exchange format (JSON, XML, other)?
Any case studies in relation to R and SharePoint data?
