We have a program called Spotfire that creates an excel file with company statistics and then it saves it to a network folder. However, we would like it to send a copy directly to a SharePoint Library so it can be viewable by the departments. We have tried
creating a script that copies the file from the network to the SharePoint UNC path @SSL\DavWWWRoot but we get permission errors. Then I tried setting up an excel in a SharePoint library then adding a Data connection to that same file on out network share however,
it does not update the excel file that is in SharePoint if I were to make changes on the file when on the network folder. It does seem to make changes to the file on the network when I make changes to the file in SharePoint so this seems to be only a
one way sync from SharePoint to the network. I have tried configuring the data connection from both locations and it still only seems to work in one direction.
