I am trying to create a form with people picker( client side ppl picker),single line of text, dropdown choice field, date field- start date and end date and its validation, multiline text etc all kinds of fields should exist in my form. i wanna create a html and on submit, i wanna insert the data ,. whatever is entered , into the splist.
how to achieve this? should i use rest api or spservices ?
has any one created a sample form with the above fields/controls and done the CRUD operations ?
has anyone worked on CSR functionality ? which one i need to focus on? i running short of time , so am unable to take decision which one is the best, optimized approach.
***i tried using the new form in SP D in my sp online site, but the very next day, my custom newform created from SPD was reverted to default newform.aspx!! its a weird thing , i saw today ***
am still clueless now, how it happened!
can anyone please share source for inserting an item with date valdiation, peoplepicker value insertion in my sharepoint custom list ( either by REST API with the captured values from the html form with ppl picker controls, date values ).
am stuck on, how to create a client people picker on this custom html form!
and even i wanna attach a document in the custom form that needs to become an attachment in the splist item
