I created a custom claims provider primarily for custom name resolution. We have users both in AD and via the custom claim provider.
Previously the people picker had been working fine - returning users from both AD and the Claims Provider. However I had set it up to only retrieve an ID value, so I needed to add additional fields (name, department, job title, etc). I edited the FillSchema, FillClaimTypes, FillClaimValueTypes, FillResolve and FillSearch to add the attributes.
Now when I search in the PeoplePicker, it just spins its wheel - never returns.
Looking at trace logs *and* debugging, all the code in the provider successfully executes - it looks like the PeoplePicker is having some issue after it gets the results from my provider. Nothing in ULS indicates what the issue might be.
Any thoughts or suggestions on where to look? Thanks.
