Setting the Rating of a list item or library document cannot be done when the list/library web part is added to a page.
The rating can only be set from the SharePoint generated view pages for the list/library.
For most SP lists and libraries, customers want some introduction text, images, etc. With the new UI, this can only be done by creating a page and adding the list/library web part, since we can no longer edit the view page. But this breaks the Rating column.
Is there any help for this?
