I created a timer job (web application). It is not working, so I need to debug it. I did the followings:
(1) (1)Set a break point in Visual Studio 2013.
(2) (2)Open the Central Admin/Manage web applications/Manage Features/Activate the Job.
(3) (3)Also in Central Admin/Monitoring/Review job definitions/Open the job.
(4) (4)Back to Visual Studio/Debug/Attach to Process/OWSTIMER.EXE.
(5) (5)Then the Break point mark from “full red” cycle becomes “red and white” cycle.
(6) (6)Go back to Central Admin job and click “Run Now”.
(7) (7)Get the error “The breakpoint will not current be hit. No symbol has been loaded for this document”.
I have been search and play around for more than a day. I cannot get the issue solved.
