I am attempting to create a basic SP 2013 Custom Workflow Activity like that described here: http://raquelalineblog.wordpress.com/2013/05/11/sharepoint-2013-workflow-custom-declarative-activity/
The VS 2012 solution compiles and deploys without error, the Custom Activity appears in the list of Actions in SP Designer 2013. However if click on the custom action my Action doesn't appear in the workflow designing GUI. Nothing happens, no errors just nothing.
One of the solution to this problem in VS/SP 2010 was to copy the assembly DLL in the GAC, but from what I have read you cant manually add DLL to the GAC in VS 2012. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Second suggestion for 2010 was to add the assembly to web.config Authorised Types. I did this to no effect.
I would deperately appreciate a fix for this, a way to make my custom activity function in SP Designer?
