We have upgraded SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013.
For newly created list in some of the site collection, we are not able to edit using "Quick edit". We get message saying "Sorry, you can't create a new item with Quick Edit because this view is missing one or more fields. To create a new item, please click on "New Item" or add required columns to this view"
Please note that this is new list & we dont have any other column othan than "Title".
I checked columns using SharePoint designer for this field, I can see that there is "Name" field of the type "FileRef" associated. I have to make it "optional" manually, in order to work "Quick Edit". But we cannot continue modification for each new list created nor it is good practice to have timer job to change the column type.
Please let me know if you have recommondation to overcome this issue.
