I created a web part and deployed in a sharepoint site. I got the error 'String not found' while activating the solution
The problem is, in server I have Visual studio 2015 installed. Visual studio 2015 causes this error.
When I open the same solution in Visual studio 2013 and publish it in a location, then upload that .wsp file I was able to activate it
