Error creating new documents using createNewDocumentWithProgID

Hello,

I am generating a link that allows users to create documents based on a content type template but without any luck. The office client says the operating system is not configured for this kind of application. This is Office 2013 x64, IE10, Win8, SP2013. If I try through the New button in the document library then everything works as expected.

The link generated is:
