Hi, having a strange issue with SP2013 (latest patch). I've setup UPS, added some Custom Properties and mapped them, and ran a full sync. Search has been setup and configured as well. I reset the index and ran a full crawl. I've done both multiple times but the same result.
When I go into one of the site collections, create a new list, or library, and add a new column, select Person or Group, and then in the Show Field drop down - the Custom Properties are not there, not one of them. I looked in the Crawled Properties under Search Schema, and they are there. Also, if I look under Site Collection Administration - Crawled Properties, they are there.
I have a SP2010 farm as well, and these same Custom Properties show up, when I create a new column. And I didn't have to perform any special settings.
Any ideas?
