i have a requirement to extend some calendar functionality but have not worked with sharepoint yet.
Basically the requirements are:
display 3 calendars (in day view) in a 3 column layout page.
display some more details in the event entries - with additional linebreaks.
provide only one button to navigate to future / past or sync the selected day of all calendars.
provide a simple excel like print template to print the selected day.
is it possible to extend / inherit the exisiting sharepoint calendar control or do I have to build my own app (using Silverlight and a third party calendar control)?
