Page Layout not showing Rich multiline Text box

I created a Page Layout through design manager. I added a Rich textbox field to my content type. But in the "Edit Properties" of the page it is shown as normal multiline textbox and it is not allowing more than 255 characters.

When i edit the page and check also, I am seeing a normal multiline box. I tried to fix it by checking many msdn articles. But no luck.

When i add the below to my html file of the page layout, it shows error when i open the page.

How should i proceed.
