ItemAdded Event handler can attach to a document library but not for the folders in the library?

Hi all,

I attached a ItemAdded event handler to the document library and everything is ok when I added a file into the document library.

But when I add a file into the folder of the document library the event can not be fired.

Is there anybody know the reason?
