How do I detect if any change has occurred when comparing properties.AfterProperties and properties.ListItem in List?

Hi,

I want to know is there a quick and easy way to check if ANY change of fields has actually occurred or do I need to create loop to compare each field?

e.g. Something like properties.AfterProperties != properties.ListItem would be nice ;)
