SharePoint 2013 Asset Library video(.MP4) is not working in Iphone and Ipad

Hello Experts,

I have uploaded .mp4 video in SharePoint 2013 asset library and it was not working in mobile device, many forum suggested below steps:

1. Set mime .mp4  video/mp4 in IIS
2. Video convert to h.264
3. Enable blob cache for Video
   

When I performed first two steps, I am able to play video in mobile with Android OS however I still have an issue with Ipad and Iphone. It either shows loading status or asking me to download Silverlight. I have latest version of Ipad and Iphone as per Mobile browser compatibility matrix(Reference).

So my question is, Is step 3(Enable blob cache for Video) only option to play video in Iphone or Ipad? Enable blob cache is for enhancing video experience so any reason why this fix is required? I uploaded same video in Office 365 Asset Library and there is no issue in Ipad and Iphone. As blob cache already enabled in Office 365, Is it working in Office 365?

Also, as mentioned in forum, Reference, CU will fix this issue. Any idea which CU version will fix this issue without enabling Blob cache?
