Sharepoint 2013 out of the box Conditional Formatting

I'm trying to create colour coding within a SharePoint 2013 Task list and I want to apply colours on specific options from the drop-down list in a column (Not started, in Progress, Deferred, etc.). Does anyone know if there is a simple way to do this by just using OOB SharePoint 2013 functionality or using SharePoint Designer without having to apply script?
