VariationLabelMenu and Office 365

Hi,

I have enabled variations on my Office 365 SharePoint site. I'm not getting a language selector to appear. In previous version of on-premises SharePoint versions there used to be VariationLabelMenu available. With a small modification to a master page the drop down would appear:

Any ideas how I can create the same drop down in Office 365?
