Reaching out to the community here as I have a puzzling scenario. I am attempting to use Search Box and Search Results webparts to help users find entries in an external list (BCS technology - external list).
The external list is working well, and the search results (list items) are being returned based on input. So far so good.
The problem is the following : When no search terms are entered in the search box, the results pane showsEVERY item
from the list. I'd like no results to be shown unless the user specified a search term and executes.
