Hi
This relates to Sharepoint 2013 OnPrem with the latest May CU installed.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with creating new pages, when creating a page with spaces in the title? It now converts the spaces into %20 instead of hyphens (-), which in itself may seem harmless, since i guess its just an url encoding, but an error occurs when trying to create the page saying that the url contains illegal characters (%). Ok, you can manually edit the url name and remove the percentage signs, but it gets kinda tedious or frustrating after a while.
It seems that it is after the May CU update (which fixed the create page issue with redirecting), since we have another server where the problem doesn't exist, which doesn't have the May CU installed.
Furthermore, there is a setting under Site Settings > Page layouts and site templates, called "Convert blank spaces in the page name to '-'" which is enabled. If you disable it, then it actually allows you to create pages with spaces in it. If you revert it to enabled, then the error with converting it to % kicks in again.
Any help or if you are also experiencing this issue, please let me know.
Best regards
Uffe
