I want to create new site columns using visual studio, so I have followed the same steps mentioned inside this MSDN article for creating site columns using visual studiohttps://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee231593.aspx .
now inside my visual studio i deploy the new site columns to my site collection, and the new solution appeared under my site collection's "site feature" and it is activated, as follow:-
but when i checked my site columns (site settings>>site columns)i could not find the new custom site columns i created ?? i did an iis reset , and i even restart the whole server,, but nothing happen. The strange thing is that i did not get any exceptions , nor during the project deployment or during the feature activation ?? i also opened the site collection using SP designer but can not find these custom site columns ..
so can anyone adivce on this please?
