SharePoint column validation

I have a column called Stage that has three choices

N1,FN,SN

I added another column called Notice Stage. I want this column to reflect what the business user needs to see:

N1= Pre-Notice

FN = Firest Notice

SN = Second Notice

I am having issues with the column validation if this then this

Any help would be appreciated
