Couldnt Map sharepoint layouts folder in Sharepoint 2013 VS 2013 project

Hi,

I m trying to migrate solution that are developed in Sharepoint 2007 to Sharepoint 2013.

I opened the solution file in Visual studio 2013 and VS converted it for me. 

I manually updated the Framework to 4.5 and Build version.

I have removed the reference to old Sharepoint.dll( 2007) to new 2013 dll.

In the solution they have already mapped Sharepoint layouts folder ( 12 Hive ) I want to change them to 15 hive.

When i right on project and select Add option " Sharepoint Layouts folder " option is not coming.

So i couldnt map 15 hive folder. Is anything am missing.

I guess VS 2013 is not recognizing this solution as Sharepoint solution.

Is there any way to solve this and map 15 hive folder.
