Powershell script to update a users "Default Role" in "My Settings"?

Hi,

can someone please tell me how I can use Powershell scripting to update the "Default Role" attribute for each user? (see below/attached screenshot).

I found a powershell script to automatically add users based on a list of user names but don't know how to update the "Default Role" attribute for each inserted user.
