Hi everyone,
I posted this question previously but I have yet to find a solution for it. The problem that I am having is trying to make my SharePoint landing page a little bit more appealing to the eyes. I am currently using the Seattle theme so that the top link (global) navigation is present, but I would like for it to appear more like the Oslo theme.
When you add a background image to a Seattle theme, it is stretched to the borders of the page but is completely overlayed by a whitish color, regardless of whether that portion of the page is in use or not. I would like to appear more like the Oslo theme, which allows the background image to shine through areas that aren't covered in either text or a webpart/container. Is there a way to do this ? I have tried a couple of CSS implementations and I was curious if anyone knows the solution to this problem. The end goal is to allow the background image to not be covered by this overlay.
Thank you!
