I have been doing some 2010 - 2013 SharePoint upgrade tests and everything seems to be going pretty smooth apart from the permissions.
The permissions do come across, so for instance user DOMAIN\dude belongs to The Group Home Owners in SP 2010. In the test upgrade, DOMAIN\dude will still belong to Home Owners, however is not inheriting the permissions. If I check permissions it'd say NONE. The funny thing is that if I remove the user and add it again, everything will work like a charm.
Any ideas whats causing this issue?
