Hi,
I was trying to implement SP2007 List Membership provider( https://splistmp.codeplex.com/ ) in Sharepoint 2013 with Visual studio 2013, The whole project was Upgraded to VS2013 successfully and build successfully in debug as well as in release.
and as per the the guide provided in https://splistmp.codeplex.com/downloads/get/18551 , i have tried to deploy the dll, added solution successfully, deployed it butfailed to activate using STSADM.EXE, so i thought to activate it through site collection feature but when i click on activate in site collection feature,it says "Something went wrong, Failed to activate solution".
i know that the solution i get from above link is developed for SP2007, Anyone tried this before??? Please advice me any necessary changes to be made to work with SP2013 and share your experience.
There are no posts available to explain this scenario.
Please suggest how to make it work, any suggestions/Tips/Help Links will be appreciated.
