Hi, I'm dealing with a migration from SP2010 to 2013, and few questions are coming up that might be quite obvious for the initiated...here's one:

When a site collection administrator does the upgrade of a site collection, are all the sub-sites also migrated?I'm asking because we have some site collections with hundreds of sub-sites, so this matter would change much an estimation of the effort required for the migration an validation...
I need to say that to me is not completely clear what the upgrade does, I'm supposing is just a visual upgrade...
