Using Silverlight with Lync

Hi everyone,

currently i am developing Web Parts for SharePoint 2013 and one task is integrating Lync.

So far i was able to succesfully create a Silverlight Application showing the status of the Lync client. But as i add the same application to the Silverlight Web Part to SharePoint it does not work anymore. Specifically it can't connect to Lync and shows no user.

What is going wrong?
