I am trying to create a workflow at an Office 365 Sharepoint 2013 site with the new 2013 workflow model. When I open a new list workflow in SPD2013, the only option available is a 2010 workflow. The following message appears below the options dropdown.
"The option for the SharePoint 2013 Workflow platform is not available because
the workflow service is not configured on the server. Please contact your
server administrator"
I have searched the forums, and all I can find is that the Workflow Manager, and option to create a 2013 workflow should be enabled by default.
The only thing I can think of that could be a problem is that the site is in 2010 mode, which I know disables some functionality. Does 2010 mode disable the workflow manager as well?
Any Ideas?
