How to send email to Assigned to person when item is created in Task List ?:

Hi,

            I am having a Tasklist When I create New item in this Task list the person name given in the Assigned To field should recieve the Email.

How can i achieve this?

Can I achieve this by going to List Settings-> Avanced setting -> E-Mail Notification (Send e-mail when ownership is assigned or when an item has been changed.) slecting YES radio button
