I was reading through how to create apps.
I went to office store to download a sharepoint app. https://store.office.com/
When I downloaded and tried to install it I got the error
Sorry, apps are turned off. If you know who runs the server, tell them to enable apps.
I read articles to resolve it. They suggested me to configure DNS and the app management service and subscription settigns service application.
I have configured those and they are working fine.
My question is what really happens when I download the app to install it to my server.
1.) Does the app map to dns if yes how does it map. Does it make any entery to DNS
2.) How does app install in my machine.
