Customisation of SP Calendar

Hi All,

    how can I map meeting room request into SP Calendar,

  I mean to say, there are meeting room names in AD, that has to reflect as an option in Calendar to select, when an employee selects an meeting room for a particular date and submits the calendar, it has to go to approval , if approved the meeting room should reflect as booked or else.  Is it possible,  please suggest how can I,
