SharePoint 2013 Access Service - How do I query the records of a table using RESTful endpoints?

Hello Everybody,

I am building a prototype application using MS Access Services of SharePoint 2013. I like the idea that all Access Tables are mapped to a SQL Database - which will eventually help us in extracting reports, etc. in the long run.

One of the immediate challenges is to display records from a table of Access Services ona plain web page using Javascript. I was hoping that there would be something like JSOM that would let me manipulate the records. However, I am unable to find any documentation in this  context.

Any suggestions?
