REST API sync issue

Hi expert,

  I created a Excel file into SharePoint 2013 Excel library and Post the URL into MS word quick parts of IncludePicture. in MS Word, I can get the Excel Chart. but when I update the chart and publish into SharePoint again, the word file does not change. does anybody knows how to sync both ?

charts('Task%20Status')?$format=image
