Refresh Modal after Sub Modal is Saved

Hello all,

I am popping a modal from a modal. The first modal is my display form, and the second is to the related list editform that is added to the first modal display form. When I save what I entered in the second modal, the first modal is not refreshed so it doesn't show the updated information. Any clues how I can update the first modal once the second one is saved/closed?

Any OOTB or querystring magic is greatly appreciated so the client can govern this!
