What I'm trying to do is send a true Outlook calendar invite when a user adds a meeting to a SharePoint calendar. I have looked at solutions advising to send out an email via a workflow, but the problem is this isn't an outlook calendar invite, its just
a plain email. Unfortunately I cannot do the reverse where a user sends in an email and the calendar adds it, my requirement is that it emails out to users when the meeting is added from the SharePoint web page. I see some third part solutions out there, but
the cheapest I saw was 1000$. Is there a way to do this natively from the SharePoint calendar web part?
